Save yourself some time and faffing about and buy Al Stohlmans "The art of hand sewing leather", then weigh up what you can improvise and what you need to buy, as far as tools go.

Then get hold of some cheap leather and have a go.

Hello. I've been searching the internet for a while now and I can't quite find a tutorial for a very basic drawstring pouch or other novice projects. Can anyone link to a list of tutorials please? I can only find sheaths and larger complex tutorials.

I did see that one before and I think that's much too complex for someone who has almost never touched the leatherworking craft or ever sewn before. I was thinking more along the lines of
