My army backpack leather straps needs some new rivets. What is decent rivets and tools to do this the proper way? eBay links?

The tools required are listed with the rivets, bottom of this page ,copper rivets would my choice as I have used the other type but not completely happy with how they look.

What Rob said, Copper are fairly easy to use and look good, a good tip buy the longest Copper rivets, they generally cost the same whatever the length and need cutting to length on your project anyway. With one size you always have the rivet that is long enough and only one storage solution…...
