Well slowly getting around to making a sheath and got another question:eek:
Using 3.5mm veg and and plan to use a 1.5mm drill bit for the holes. I have a no5 overstitch wheel and somebody suggested drilling every other hole?
Thoughts would be smashing.

Would probably work, you dont want the stiching too close together as it would create a perforated effect and the leather would tear, over on BB Tiffers has a great tread on saddle stiching.

Ta for that. Thought that a no5 was a good all rounder....can use a 1mm drill dunno if that would be better with the no5 wheel and then drilled every hole?

I take it you have a 5 stiches per inch wheel. If so that is exactly what I use and I drill every hole with a 1.5mm drill and its fine.
