Leather question

I want to make a mask for my drawknife. How do I get a nice deep embossed line around the edge, for a simple embellishment.
I will be using 3mm veg tan.

use a stitch groover if you can get one, does exactly what you want.

the cheap way is to dampen the leather and use a fork. but a stitch groover is neater and has more definition

Heads up Colin !!!! There's leather tools for trade in the swap shop if ya quick ya might get lucky I believe the stitch groove is there too.
