I posted up some pictures of a knife I made recently in the “Edged tools” section of the forum and commented that the leather sheath was the part I found most difficult to make. This suggests leather work is an area that I need to practice so I knocked this up yesterday in order to do so.
A back injury means I have an internal neurostimulator fitted for which I have to carry a controller. This controller whilst not that much bigger than a mobile phone is bulky enough to be uncomfortable all day in the pocket and I’ve never been convinced how secure the supplied case is. The fact I had some leather off cuts lying around after making the knife sheath and I had a problem crying out to be solved made it an obvious practice project for a wet day It’s quite a way from perfect but it’s functional and I’m reasonably happy with it (it’s just a shame I managed to mark near the popper whilst fitting it )
Thanks for looking
