this blade (bottom one in top pic) is actually from a previous batch but only just fitted the scales. 6mm o1 tool steel with cocobola dymondwood scales and brass pins.
that was the last one needing scales... a few sheaths to do yet.



all my o1 blades made so far minus one not pictured which was sold...

What's your method for removing the handle material? Do you vice andrasp/file it or grind it off with a belt?

thanks, i grind off most with the belt sander getting it to about 75% then touch up with a sanding drum on a dremal... finish with sand paper and the polishing mops
