I'm making a sheath for my 140 tereva puukko, I have the sheets and i'd like to get some bits likes rivets, screws, nuts and spacers etc.

where to buy in Europe preferably?

I think some of the leather suppliers can do bits of kydex furniture.
There are some places that specialise in it too.
Have a google search.

screws,

I make spacers with rubber gasket material and a pair of punches…and a hammer.

uPVC down pipe will heat mould into belt loops and clips, and is tougher than Kdyed.
Thats interesting, regular old uPVC from B&Q? have you got any pics?

Made my Foam press today and tried to make sheath mark 1. I think my foam is a bit too stiff and maybe didn't get the 2mm kydex hot enough. 170 for 3 mins in the oven

I'm looking at getting a cheap roll mat from mountain warehouse, any other suggestions for foam?

Not really. I bought my foam from KnifeKits.com. I decided that getting the right type, just what I needed, was more economic than experimenting with domestic foam sources that often wanted to sell more material than I needed. I tried roll mat and it melted and stuck to the kydex, tearing up the surface and becoming permanently thinner. My time is valuable and I do not want to waste it trying to save a couple quid….I have done this on more occasions than I can count and I am trying to learn!

if I was going to buy more foam now I might consider domestic, but only if I could take the premium Knife kits material and use it as a comparison benchmark example for what I want.
