as long as you are within the law let them look. Giving kids the knowledge that knives are tools is what is actully needed in this country instead of demonising them.

great work there mate - stuff like this, makes me want to get involved with my local scouts and teach them the proper stuff.

Excellent stuff Alf, great looking knives I like the far right one. They are lucky to have such a good tutor.

Helping your local Scouts can be great but you do have to find a group that wants to do these type of things. Dont get me wrong there are Scout Leaders who welcome some help with this kind of thing and I could help you find ine I think.:D

Thanks for the comments My Young Leader will be pleased someone liked his knife. Though it took some persausion to change his mind from the impractical ideas he had.

We have made the sheaths now and here are some more pics.

A couple of knives not shown before by a couple of adults who had not made knives but were good with thier hands. Both are in Olive wood and buffalo horn
