A young friend of mine is wanting to do a Knife/Sword Making apprenticeship. He's 17 years old and has built himself a forge in his garden. He's done a couple of smithying courses too. Apprenticeships are few and far between - he's even looking overseas. Does anyone know of anyone working in this field who takes on youngsters for perhaps a year? Thanks
