Knife grind guide (?)

Basically I am after one of those grind guides that you can attach to blade to ensure an equal angle for your grind when sharpening your knife.

My knife is a hand made jobby, by someone who isn't the best at putting a grind on knifes. He has done a good job, just want to change from a convex grind to a scandi one and need one of those guides to fit on the blade to ensure I get an equal grind when doing it.

Anyone know where I can get one from?

Cheers.

There is actually a little bracket that fits onto the spine of the knife and provides a guide angle when sharpening, but I don't know the name of it and haven't had any luck with searching on the internet.

Thanks for the link Led, but it's a bit fancy and not what I would take into the field with me.

Cheers anyway guys.

Lansky does one. I have it and it is pretty good. I reprofiled a Fallkniven F1 with it. It took ages and it is not exactly proffessional workmanship. It might be worth seeing if anyone will do it for you on British Blades.

It will cost yo, but then so will the sharpening system which you probably wont use again.
