I want to make my own knife sheath for a knife I already have. I want a Kydex type insert to fit into a textile (cordura type) housing. Does anybody do Kydex sheaths and does anybody know where I can get 1-2 m of tough black or olive green material.
I am also thinking of either making the knife myself or getting a knifemaker to do it. I want something very similar to the Mora knife but a bit more robust with full tang and tougher handle material.
Can anybody help with either.

You can have any colour, any pattern you want in Kydex providing you buy at least 1/2 a ton...

Your best bet on finding a ready supply of black Kydex is to do a search on British Blades. IMO, YMMV etc. etc.

Cheers guys, when I make my perfect knife and sheath I may get your opinions. By the time I have actually made it though I will probably have a completely different outlook on bushcraft and want something different.
