I am not certain that you could get style points for the sheat, even though practical. The knife looks good and useful.

Nice work, that little knife looks great with the blade ferric finished and dark wood. Not a huge fan of firehose, but it’s an incredibly practical sheath, and looks great where you’ve left the stamp on it. Reminds me of my tarp hat.

Yes, the hose does get that reaction a bit....when I happen across some nice Veg Tan on the Moors I'll be sure to recycle it instead ;)

You are too kind sir. The finish is a bit of lazy rubbing and discoloration / sooting caused by the tang burn-in though. Scorching the handle with a couple of light passes does give a pleasing effect and bring the grain up nicely, to give a nice tactile feel. I appreciate you words and compliments on the Marmite sheath material too :D
