The response pak comes with a strap for shoulder carry or it can be worn bum bag style.

Strange, mine has no such strap or facility to fit one. ��

Does yours have some type of D ring fittings at the top?

Pic 2 clearly shows the shoulder strap. Do you have the Snugpak response pack?

Mine is the copy of the snugpak one and yes it does have attachment points on the top and back.

It is, as far as I know a Snugpak one, bought brand new, came with all the little card tags, embroidered on the front, Snugpak zipper pulls, etc.

Could i have an early one?

My (genuine) response pak lacks the 'D' rings as well.

It can still be chucked over the shoulder reasonably well with the belt strap if you pin/stitch the mountings back on themselves at 90 degrees.

I really need to re-pack my response pak, lots of bits have gone walkies over the past few years since I first put together a BOB with it.
