Found this shelter system on a blog.

Its basically a winter 2 person shelter, with a stove, pegs and you could add a groundsheet, weighing under 2.5 kilo's.

Consists of 3 items:

Kifaru Mega Tarp, weight is 595g
Kifaru Annex, weight is 170g
Kifaru Small stove, weight is 1400 grams.

The Annex comes with a stove boot sewn in.

I've just seen the kifaru set up via twitter earlier tonight, looks great!

Will you be investing so that you can review it for us?!

No Plans to. But you never know. [I need more kit like I need a hole in the head....:)]
The blog where I came across it was called 'backpacking bongos' 12 week delivery time. There are a number of reviews on the web though.

Saw that post myself yesterday and I had the pleasure of meeting him on the TGOCHALLENGE in May ( I was one of the nurses who looked at his foot- luckily it wasn't as bad as we thought it was and he was able to continue after a days rest)- top bloke he is!

Looks like a sweet set up

I have to say that looks like exactly the type of shelter that, no matter how hard you try, will always have flappy baggy bits.

I'd be worried about coming in through the annex and past the stove too. I would have thought that you run the risk of fairly savage burns and maybe dislodging a peg and draping fabric over the stove.

Still hoping for a thread with a write up of your TGO challenge!

This did cross my mind when I first saw the shelter, as above I'm looking forward to seeing a review once he's given it some use
