I'm hoping this will be the first step into getting Carol to rough it for a few days :)

Looking forward to the sheepskin, wood burning stove and patter of snow on canvas. I've just had a nice chat with George and it sounds like a nice place, finally I get to break my Comrie cherry.

Anybody here stayed in one?

You'll love it.
I've go the tent and stove set up they use and you will be toasty. They are nicely installed with wooden bases, some in the forest and some nearer the showers etc. Your missus might prefer to be nearer the showers. This time of year the forest pitches could be a bit boggy/muddy

I've been there, I went there for a valentines weekend a couple of years ago.
It was great.
If you have room, take a couple of duvets to spread on the sleeping platform, and plenty of logs for the fire box.
There isn't really a lot of good burning wood lying around.

We were there for 3 nights over New year , all the family really enjoyed our stay .
The Kata set up is great and worked well for the 4 of us and a mountain of kit.
