Stumbled across this doco on the ABC online digital channel. It is a 56 min doco of Jon Muirs unsupported walk across Australia. He spends over 120 days walking through the wilderness from the South of Australia to the North. Basically survives off the land, by hunting and foraging. Pretty amazing journey. One tough *******!

I saw some of it, pretty good....he looked like hygene wasn't his top priority, that made it worth watching alone.

Yes it is the film where he pulls a cart and his dog dies and he doesn't care to much for hygene. It starts off slow and then I found it very engaging. Pretty amazing affort, to walk across the driest continent on earth, relying on your bushcraft know how to find water and food. He had no sat phone, if he got in trouble he would die. Also an interesting study on how an individual can cope with solitude for 128 days. Very sad when his dog dies.
