Thought that a few might be interested in the celebration of the life of John Rae after RM highlighted his work a few years ago. There are events this year up in the Orkneys and I spied this whilst visiting Stromness. I know that it's a little off the beaten track for some but it's a nice place to visit nevertheless.
I can't go myself but by coincidence I'm going to listen to RM giving a talk on Fri 27 Sep in Glasgow. If he's this far up he may be attending.
