Tremendous film!
It has a lot to offer. This community would/will enjoy it immensely.

Read the book Crow Killer - The Saga of Liver Eating Johnson by Bunker and Thorpe. The film, although entertaining, is lack-lustre next to this. Taken from first hand verbal accounts of some of the men who trapped with him. Bearclaw Chris Lapp & Del Gue in particular.

Agreed. The book has much more in it and a better feel. It's written as a sort of biography, with the material drawn from interviews with a few people who had dealings with him and from historical documents. Well written and a good read.

If only one could still just head up into the hills and live free now!
