They've done a tarp tent for a couple of years. Rather heavy. A local small camping retailer (mainly family tents, mobile homes, caravans (last two second hand) and a few smaller tents) sold them about 3 years ago IIRC. I saw them either when I bought my Force10 Vitesse (about 4 years ago) or halfway between then and when I bought my Vango Spectre200 there. Good deal on both. The Spectre was only £50 when RRP was actually £100 back then. Now RRP is £90 and it got best in test for budget 2 man backpacking tents in the last 6 months or so in one outdoors mag.

I think they did a similar tent too that had a separate inner mesh and groundsheet that could be pulled back to give more porch space. Could be wrong and just mistaking it for this one.

JW tents are heavy and overprices IMHO. Other stuff is better. Hex 3 anyone or Shangri-La as it has morphed into.

I have the JW tarp tent- much smaller than this. £90 list price from Cotswold Outdoor- bought in the sale for ~£65ish a year ago so I wouldn't call that expensive. Weights a little over 2 kg of which the pole is 300g (150mm long) the outer 980g and the inner 960g. 10 lightweight ali pegs. Sleeps 2 with the inner and 3 without. Better than a Shangri la in that the inner doesn't fill the outer tent, leaving a porch area. Love it to bits.

I like the look of that. Have had a Jack wolfskin tent for 15 years now and love it, very well made, tough and easy to use. True, is a bit heavy compared to similar but worth little more weight for reliability IMO.
