did you go to the rustic weekend at the rural life center dude? there was a chap selling all manner of tools but he had an axe just like your hatchet on the far right, really caught my eye, unfortunately i had no cash on me else i would have grabbed it, just wondered if it was you

No it was not me as I have never been.
It is stamped Gilpin of Cannock and it is easy to carve with.

I an indeed missing a handle.
Now there just happens to be a branch that I found in some woods yesterday, it is dry and has now been placed by me in a safe place for when I go back and carve and chop into a handle on site.
