It's only another KUKSA I'm afraid!

Well I think I've got it finished. It's been walnut oiled, boiled in milk 4 times, oiled you name it. It was like a watering can rose:( The boiling in milk certainly gives it a seal/coating that seems very hard and takes a bit sanding off.

So tonight it was the araldite and hair drier (borrowed, not mine:o) to try and get it water tight. Seems to have worked.

Finished in walnut oil with beeswax melted into it.

No gaps or leaks ....my liquid never stays in long enough . By finishing I meant waxing or maybe taking a few more scoops out for a tad more volume .
Araldite ? Brass powder ? Seems to defeat the object of taking nature and harnessing her fruit.....

Well after all the hours (fun) making it and it leaks! Old meets new (my excuse anyway).

I have a nice cherry burr and root ball waiting to go next. Hopefully there will be no holes in it.
