Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
I am not normally into Islay malts, but Ardbeg were doing free samples at a festival last summer and I rather fell in love with it.

Ardbeg is possibly my favourite malt of all time. This looks very interesting Red, will check it out.
Not tasted it yet but my money would be on it being Bruichladdich.I hope you like it Richard!
Although I will likely never find out, I'm betting on Ardbeg or Caol Ila distilleries - really a very good flavour
Oh yes!Increasing order of preference I trust?
Speyside is OK, for beginners and anyone canoeing from distillery to distillery but I have yet to find an Islay or Jura that I did not fall in love withMan we must have a session some time....Laphroaig is okay....but...Caol Ila 30 YO - like an angel crying on your tongue! It'll really wind up David C too - he is a Speyside man

Sometime I must tell you how my love for Laphroaig lead to me being given a free holiday in a Tweedside multi star hotel ... but it is best told over a good bottle!
