Is this a Helvella Crispa?

These are growing in my parents' garden (East Anglia) under a large pine tree.

The closest I've found is Helvella Crispa, but the brown tops are making me wonder...

Well...it's either a very strange-coloured H. crispa or it is one of the rare Gyromitra species (false morels). I am going to check with a higher authority...

ETA: the HA reckons its H. crispa with the cap gone funny...
