Is it Rusula Nigrican?

I found lots of this yesterday in the meadow, please can anyone confirm it's name

Don't think it is a russula, as they usually have pale gills. That looks like a Agaric that has gone way past its best. Difficult to put to species in that state. Will need someone with more expertise than me.

I'd hedge my bets with amanita or agaricus not sure which species though.

No, it's should not be a Russula, you can see the nigricans sp here.
I'm quite confident it should be an Agaric, can you take another pic with some detail of the gills? Maybe one younger than this
Does it have some peculiar smell?
