What about a flip up filter ? I made one useing a 4mm sheet of IR filte sheet from an ebay store, would you like the link? don't know if thats what your after dude?

You can get IR glow sticks. Not sure how mutch but did seem them in surplus store recently.

Well, its a bit obscure but i wanted something i can shine onto old ww2 webbing items to read faded dates and markings.I remember reading somewhare that you can do this?Prehaps im thinking of a camera with nightvision?

Im right in thinking that an IR snapstick isnt visible to the naked eye?

Are you sure it's IR and not UV ?? (a lot of digital cameras pick up UV very well)
