Just got this off of Tristan Gooley

Wayfinding on Radio 4

BBC Radio 4 are broadcasting a programme about 'intuitive wayfinding' this afternoon at 16.30. (That's 15.30 GMT for those not in the UK).

It is part of the 'Digital Human' series:

"Aleks Krotoski compares our intuitive wayfinding skills to those of the digital world and explores how finding the best way from A to B, C and D still poses problems for tech."

The rumour is that I stray from the path of normal navigation topics and end up talking about cats and bins.

just listened to it thanks, interesting stuff that confirms some of my own thoughts, such as the comments about ''familiarity'' affecting peoples decisions and ''trusting the robot to guide them'' even when the robot is wrong.

just one thing, the introduction mentions Tristan Gooley as writing the worlds only books covering natural navigation, this is in fact wrong as there is a book published in 1958 called ''Nature is Your Guide'' written by Harold Gatty.
