There are entire networks of underground passages and private railways under many British cities. Few are in good repair, but the Victorian's *really* knew how to build :) It's a fascinating subject, I didn't know there was a website devoted to it all though. Excellent link. Thanks,
Cheers,

I was a member many years ago at the end of the cold war and we would go to all these just declassified cold war underground bunkers all over this country and Germany. We also had a trip to the channel tunnel during its construction and the Jubilee line in London, along with many disused and tube lines and even the Royal mail train line under London.

It was not just the modern sites nether they also arrange visits to ancient mines and underground structures.

I dont know why i left, i just never got around to renewing my membership.
