off out fly fishing in the morning....at the lake for 07:45, quick brew then a good couple of hours on the fly.....cant wait !

i blanked !!
the first time ever on this lake that i've blanked !! went through my fly box twice !....one tug and that's all i got all day !!
still, got there early, sun rising, mist rising of the water, trees outlined black against the dawn, young swans drifting through the mist, dew on the grass, brew going on a lynx stove, peace and quiet in the country side....can't beat it
....wish i'd caught a trout though !
