Hi all.
I’m searching for a new back pack, I’ve had loads over the years but never had one that I really thought was ‘the one’.
I’ve been looking at the Savotta kahakka, either the 15L or maybe the 25L.
I would love to read what you guys think of them for day hikes , one nighters or just a pack to carry general bushcraft kit in.
I don’t do weeks away, so it need not be a massive bag. Something modular when needed to be ?The Savotta kits looks bomb proof, and I’ve watched several YouTube vids.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Direct Action Dragon Egg suits my needs. I won’t list the features but it’s a well thought out pack and carries well.

I have the Savotta Kahakka 25 and reckon that it is the best day pack I've ever owned.

It has clean lines, is not choked with straps or molle and has decently sized pockets where I want them. The two side pockets are brilliant for water bottles or axes or longer bits of wood; the top pocket has enough room for the essentials; the front, zipped pocket is great for maps, note books, credit cards and car keys. That leaves the main compartment, which is big enough for my bushcraft or hillwalking needs, no matter what the season.

Yes, it's pricey but you get an extremely well thought out and made pack for you pennies. Yup, I love mine!

And I have no association with Savotta at all; I'm just a delighted customer and user.
