Improvised tanks and armor

A short piece of video on the BBC today featuring some 'home made' tanks built by the cartels in Mexico, quite an impressive machine, allegedly proof against most small arms fire.

Which reminded me of another article eleswhere which featured photographs of the improvised tanks and armor produced in Anarchist Barcelona during the civil war, some quite cool looking vehicles there, especially the Hispano-Suiza remodeled to look like an early Batmobile.

Enjoy.

pretty cool but am I the only one that would have put some armour over the wheels to prevent the tyres being shot out to disable it?

definatly, but cool all the same, i like the expanding foam use inside, very P.I.M.P!
Yup I noticed that too - if a round did make it inside they would have a cool 'blizzard' to contend with too :lmao:

yup would be excellent - and a great smokescreen for the car full of contraband that was following it through! "on you go Sir!...... we will have a good look at this truck first...."
