Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
My father in law is an avid hill walker and is at the moment bagging lots of Munros and other Scotish hills. As he dosn't have a small tent he borrows my Vango Tempest 200 when he goes.

His last walk was up near Kinlochewe.

This is the tent pitched at Loch Gleann na Muice

Now to quote my father in law
father in law said:
Set up tent etc and had just finished washing dishes when it started to rain, so got into tent, battened down the hatches and got undressed and into my sleeping bag fell asleep – about 20:00. Woke at midnight – still raining. A few puddles outside tent. Went back to sleep. Woke just after 5, and things felt strange. Almost like being in a waterbed. Definitely water under tent where legs were! Nothing inside tent, so unzipped inner door and looked out into “cooking area” – 3 inches of water!!

This is the view from inside the tent. Note the trangia pots floating.

And the view of the tent from the outside. The raised lip on the front of the tent stopped it flooding.

Now whats really impssive about the tent was that it did not leak! Been impressed with vango kit before and now even more impressed.

Had a stream running under my equinox 350 one night too, with no leakage. I like the vango, some negativity about the poles which is probably valid but for the money.... goodjob

I had a stream of water and a puddle underneath my Vango Banshee 200 at Loch Etive and not a drop got in, I really like Vango products and would recommend them to everyone. No connection etc.
