So, I live in Belfast, N. Ireland, on Monday evening I bought a couple of items from a local seller on eBay. He duly delivered them to a post office counter on Tuesday morning, service used was RM 48 Tracked. This morning my phone 'binged' with a message from Royal Mail, expecting to see a message telling me what time they'd be delivering, I opened it only to read that my package is "on its way" from the North West Superhub, Warrington, Cheshire. Estimated delivery - Tuesday 23rd. It has been my experience that sine the Windsor Protocol RM parcels from GB take a day longer than the estimate, so I'm not really expecting it until next Wednesday. The post office that the seller used is four miles from my house. I didn't think that at my age my ghast could really be flabbered, but Royal Mail managed it! I actually just sat for a couple of minutes with a bemused smile on my face wondering, how?
