I'm off on a four night trip in North Wales and I've been asked to cook up a few delights!

There are some kids on the trip and I would like to get them involved too.

I thought we could do:

Bannock - in a Duch oven
Bruschetta with ransoms and tomato
Salami, tomato and pepper kebabs

Can you guys and girls suggest any other fairly simple recipes that I could get the children to help prepare and cook?

Cheers

Kebabs - made with anything: sausage, bacon, chunks of whatever meat is available. (Mr M does it with salami) add some tomatoes, mushrooms etc. The kids can get to make the skewers as well.

A hearty soup / stew allows a slow cook from prepared veg and the like. Cook it watery so it will not stick and then thicken with powered mash in the last 3 mins. Any meat, any veg, add an oxo and they have made supper
