Do elf caps have a known Medicinal quality?

As in beneficial , not wanting a trippy walkabout...

I don't think so, they're just edibles, like jelly ears. Slice them up and stir fry. Kind of earthy/woody tasting, but not unpleasant. Small ones just fry whole. Nice with other Spring veggies....ransoms, etc.,

I don't think anything else looks like elf cups....you might google that though, bound to be something online.

Taste wise they were just pretty much what you said
It's a texture thing, an unami kind of addition to dinner, iimmc ?
