I can't stop making stuff out of paracord! Whoopie slings, soft shackles, key fobs (I've progressed to 2 colours now...), lanyards...

To add fuel to the fire, my Dyneema is arriving this week!!

Be careful what you use the heart of 'Poundshop paracord' for. Whilst it appears to be fine braided cord, it is actually one continuous strand knitted up into a braid, somewhat akin to a French sennit. If you pull a strand of it, the whole issue collapses into a fuzzy mess. This will also happen if a 'strand' is snagged in the bight (midlength; ie not at an end)

Interesting! I hope my green paracord I bought still has the internal cord rather than the cheaper padding in the brown stuff

Well, out of the 4 lots I have, 3 have the crappy white stuff and one (green) has the useful cord. Not a huge issue, I suppose but strangely disappointed
