Now I prefer my canvas tent, since it does not get hot in the sun. I don't like a portable greenhouse!

But here is my weekend tent. I had the idea of tying my thick poncho over it as a sunshade; worked a treat!
 
It was at this years Stainsby festival.

I thought it might have been. I was away working all weekend mate, but it sounds like I missed a good one, will plan better next year :)

I've got a silver survival blanket thing I do use as a sun shade tarp, but due to another thread was thinking about using it in the future as insulation in cold. To use it in bad weather will take a bit more adjustment as its flimsy and pitches as an overtarp with 4 pieces of string tied at the corners .
