No sympathy,a knife is a cutting instrument, not a crowbar. I can never see the point when some folk on here try to test knives to destruction. If you want to split a log , use a splitting axe, or mall, not a knife. Surely anyone can destroy any
implement, if they use it for something it was not designed for. I can see the value of cutting wood, or rope, and
using a knife to cut through material, beyond what it is designed for, to see how it will bear up, but I do not see the sense
in trying to use it as a pry bar, when another tool should be used that is designed for this purpose. Rant over.

how in the name of all that has ever walked this earth did you manage to break a mora.... i use mine for heavy cutting, splitting logs and just general abuse and the most I've managed is two little dents in the cutting edge.

*shakes his head*

you could grind it down, drill it and turn it into a penknife (pocket knife) not that hard to do.

Too late, too late!
All explanations are in thread, and the end result too!

Good jo you did with the broken knife.
You learned several things: to use a knife withing the intended usage
Not to throw knives while drunk
How to reshape steel,
How to glue
How to carve a handle!
All is good then!
