I still can remember it.

You slowly start to realise that you might have become adult or something like that. You can even make wise decisions if you want. That isn't so bad.

Otherwise you already have to count in that you are less fit than you were before. That's less great.

There is a difference in aging and getting old. Long time ago I decided that as I cannot prevent aging, so be it but I can do a lot not getting old. Trying to follow that ever since.

I turned 50 18 days ago. 17 days ago my son turned 10. Sometimes we are the same age! Sometimes I'm my actual age,

50, like all the others, is just a number and not a restriction on your life.
A friend gave me a great T-shirt when I turned 40. It said “If you haven’t grown up by the age of 40 you don’t have to!”
I’m now 58 & still refusing.
