Hydration pack/bladder questions

1) when using these, the mouthpiece is above the water level - do you have to suck & build up a vacuum to get any fluid?

2) why is the Source Hydration Convertube twice the price of just buying a complete system?

3) where do you pack them in a normal rucksack (one without a dedicated compartment)?

1 yeah you have to suck but its not hard work

2 think iv got one somewhere that i never use if you want it?

3 just pack it somewhere where its not going to get squashed otherwise it will leak everywhere

yeah will bring it along, its nothing fancy, cant remember the make but probably not as fancy as a Source Hydration thing. could probably do with soaking in some cleaner as i haven't used it in about five years but its yours if you want it

I've got some brewing cleaner I'll use (VWP) - thought for a moment I'd invented a new product until I found the one I mentioned
