How to pack polar pure?

Hi all,
How do you carry your polar pure when out on a trip? I have mine stored in a plastic chicken stock container, but it is fairly bulky. Does it even need protection while in the pack?

i sling it in the map lid of my pack and forget about it. The glass is quite tough.

Like you, I store the bottle in another plastic container.

I keep mine rolled up inside my Millbank bag and in the inside top pocket of my bergan.
