how much paracord?

how much paracord are you bringing for a multi day wilderness trip.

if you have paracord assigned for a specific use, for tent, tarp etc, it doesn't count.

i was thinking that 20m should suffice.

How much can you carry? You will never have enough!


I would think that 20m should suffice, thats what I take when I go. For every day over 2 days I increase the amount by about 5m.

i try and take at least twice as much as i could possibly need, to be on the safe side.

i got a 100 metre spool and just take a few metres off when i want it but i mostly stay in a tent so its more for messing about with when i do start using my tarp ill preattach lengths i think for speed and keep 15' or so for backup
