I'm asking because I have some blades I intend to sell, but I'm only shipping to CONUS.
So I'm looking for a place to sell them. I want to get the most exposure to that demographic.

I don't really want to pay $30 for a membership to BladeForums because I don't go there that often.
I'd rather give these forums my money. LOL

May I ask why you only want to sell them to CONUS? If you really do only want to sell them to there, your Bladeforums membership will likely pay off as I can't think of any places with bigger reach, though it will be harder to sell on there than as a CONUS local given the buyers know you're sending from here.

If you really don't want to pay Bladeforums, post videos on YouTube and Instagram and sell that way with the appropriate tags. Just make sure your payment mechanism is rock solid against unwarranted chargebacks.

Rather the opposite I expect. Woodswoman’s location shows she is in the US, so a membership on BF or BCUSA will make sales easy. Here it is reliant on our small US contingent seeing that she too is in the US and therefore won’t be messing with international shipping. An easy thing to overlook.

We have quite a few US based members, (three out of the last 12 members to join) but many earlier joiners don’t post much and it’s hard to know how often they visit.

Yes, this has become a real and substantial headache here. It is now very difficult to sell to, and an even more involved process to ship to, the US. Ensuring fees and customs are prepaid, getting QRs and so forth. Stuff getting returned when people get an unplanned for customs bill.

This feels especially so for small, used items like knives, flashlights, rucks, jackets etc. that used to just sail across without concern. I am on BCUSA and Blade Forums. I don't think finding people who want the stuff is difficult. It is just that importing to the US is now a considerable suck.

Same in the other direction. I have stopped buying from US (or other jurisdictions) unless it's under £135 and VAT paid in country of origin as I don't want the importing headache- not just the VAT and duty but also brokerage fees.
