How do you clean Micarta

Hi All,
whats the best way to clean and look after a Micarta knife handle.

I've used methanol to remove leather stains

Thanks so far. Have been given a knife which seems to have Renassance wax left over near the blade and on to the handle. Thought i would check for tips before damaging the knife using the wrong product
