I was desperately trying to reduce weight so I left the Swedish kit behind and just took the burner and a can of spuds. The spuds were cooked in a 58 metal mug and the tin washed. Both ends were cut out with a tin opener then smoothed, and the tin then had holes punched in around the middle. Finally the seam was cut to allow it to fit around the burner. A civvy one would not have needed it. Six slots were cut in the top rim so that tent pegs could be placed in them (to stop them rolling) to act as a pot stand. Light burner and retire to a safe distance..
Worked exceedingly well, and rolled around the meths bottle in my pouch for carrying. A meal AND stove in one!
