Home made wicked edge query

I am thinking of making a diy wicked edge sharpening system. The principal is quite straight forward and I would utilize wooden blocks with holes drilled for the stones and fit wet and dry paper for the abrasive.

If I do this privately there would be no issue but would posting the knock off contraption here if it works contravene any copyright issues and get me or this site in trouble?

I don't think there would be a problem. Your version would be different in many ways from the original and you're not making identical copies and ripping off their name.
