So my wife and I recently got into spoon carving and we bought some Robin Wood hook knives and carving axe. Awesome tools, but need covers to protect the edges when not in use. I've got a bunch of soft leather offcuts and an industrial sewing machine, so here's the axe cover I knocked up this morning:
The knives are even simpler, just a short sleeve that slides over the ends. These stay on due to friction, aided by the curved blade.
