Hi, I'm Megan,
I live in Wales and the 'Lady friend' as he keeps putting it of Luu89 :lmao:
I love foraging for food and getting my hands on anything nature provides me.
All in all me and Luu89 make a pretty good team.

My old man has a few Bahco things, being a builder :)

They're of a pretty decent quality, didn't realise they made a folding saw too... I know what's on my birthday list goodjob

Oh lord, where to start? lol
As for sleeping we have;
A Coleman Rock Springs 3 Tent, A highlander basha in dpm (soon to be a DD XL), double down filled sleeping bag (ya know, for that cozy feelin' :p), sheepskins for that luxurious feel :D, some other bits and bobs that i forget now lol
As for fire, I have a ferro-rod/Firestick/one of the other gazzilion names for it, I just havent figured out how to do it properly yet... I'm getting there though :)
Tools I have a BuckLite Max, which I've found to be pretty decent for the money, a carbon steel Bolo Machete for trimming veg etc, and a 1.5lb hand axe I bought from clas ohlsen, which after a bit of work on teh profile, I've manged to get pretty usable I must say :D, all of which are kept tidy on a DC4.
Pretty much all the usual, lanterns, gas burner/micro stove, cooking set inside a billy can... lol

Hello & welcome to the forum.

The laplander is a good saw, but quite expensive. TBH, if you have a look in your local garden center for a "pruning saw", you will pick something similar up for about a tenner :)

Well a good night out for us is huddling under a tarp with some marshmallows over a big fire. lol
We go wild camping as much as we can last time we went was in february, there was frost on the ground but it didnt stop us from washing in the river! :D

Well, we have pretty much all we need, now it's just a case of reviewing and refining our needs now I suppose.

A good night out, well that would have to be sitting in some woodland, a nice fire, some marshmallows, star gazing and guessing animal noises. Sounds about perfect to me :D

We haven't been out all that much for a while now, but hoping to get the most out of this spring/summer :)

Going to have to find some decent woodland near to home to get out on more overnighters and weekenders.

Cardiff or Aberystwyth, either one would do lol

I got a Wilkinson Sword one with a ten year guarantee. They have two rows of teeth, so it cuts on both the fore & back stroke = half the cutting time & effort. The downside is it's just a bit bigger & heavier than the laplander.

Horses for courses - as they say :)
