Help with Tree ID?

Hi guys i spotted this variagated member of the maple / acer family today and would be very grateful for any help with and identification - cant spot anything like it in my books

Hi Red,

Daft question that I'm only asking because I've not enough pixel defination to work it out for myself. Are you sure the leaf colouration is caused varigation and not diesease/infestation?

Thanks Ahijno - certainly not a box elder (Acer negundo) and the leaves were too small for a sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus).

It did have the double winged seeds similar to field maple or sycamore.....

I would take a guess that the tree is a variety (natural hybrid) rather than a cultivar (man made hybrid). I think this because of the wide range of variegation types on the two photos, unfortunately most cultivars like this would be thrown on the compost heap as they are deemed too unreliable for mass production.

Looks like variegated sycamore 'Variegatum' which does have smaller leaves than the standard sycamore.
