Hope this is the correct forum, mods please feel free to move and tell me off if it isn’t….
Sooo, got four rabbit skins, soaked in alum and salt solution for a couple of days, then scraped the flesh off. After a week in a stronger pickle they should I see from t’internet be done.
Yet when I test boil for a few mins the scraps I test come apart easily…….
Have I messed up beyond repair ? Should I do something else ?
What do I do next time ?
As ever, any help most gratefully received.

@Toddy posted about using your washing machine to tan hides, including rabbit, some years ago (maybe as far back as 2010!). I've yet to try it (the missus is always around when I need to do it :)).
Thats a useful link, its just that I need to know how to rescue these…..
