Help! Trying To Source Drinking Vessel

Hi all.

This is a long shot but years ago when I was about six years old I remember my parents brought me a leather drinking bottle when I was on holiday. I've since lost it but I'd love to get my hands on another one, only problem is that I can't find them anywhere on the internet and to be honest I'm not even sure what they are called.

It was made from really soft flexible leather with a screw cap and was kind of almost banana shaped (if my memory serves me correctly.) I just thought it would make a brilliant lightweight bottle to keep on my person whilst walking and doing things.

Can anyone help me remember what these things are called? :S

How big was it? What sort of cap/stopper?
Could it have been a wine skin?

Also called a bota bag.
